Program Overview

The YWCA Neighborhood Play Program provides children with the opportunity to learn through play.

Children will develop social skills such as teamwork, taking turns, and assuming leadership roles while getting in touch with their imaginations by inventing their own games and doing arts and crafts. It’s also an excellent chance for kids to simply get out of the house into the outdoors and learn to connect with the physical world around them away from screens. Children can expect get at least the minimum recommended physical activity time – and likely more!
