Our 32-bed residence offers single and double rooms with shared kitchen, bathroom and laundry for women (and any dependent children) to rent on a monthly basis at very reasonable rates.
Parent Support and Child Development Program consists of a Child Support Counsellor and 2 Child Development Specialists. This child-minded team facilitate an intake with all of the mothers and children who are admitted to YWCA Harbour House.
The goal of this program is to ensure that the family’s basic needs are met and that proper advocacy and referrals are provided. Parent Support and Child Development Specialists strive to provide an atmosphere of safety and belonging where families are empowered with supports and tools to facilitate healing from physical and emotional injuries and improve resilience.
