MEDIA INVITATION TO YWCA LETHBRIDGE WORLD YWCA DAY CELEBRATION
Lethbridge, AB – Every year on April 24th, YWCAs around the world celebrate World YWCA Day. It’s a day to observe our common membership and achievements in a movement that advances the human rights and leadership of women, young women and girls. It’s also a time to recognize our movement’s efforts in creating positive change for all women around the world.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Find Your Voice. Share Your Story!” World YWCA’s vision states ‘By 2035, one hundred million young women and girls transform power structures to create justice, gender equality and a world without violence and war; leading a sustainable YWCA movement, inclusive of all women.’
To celebrate World YWCA Day on the local level, YWCA Lethbridge & District is hosting a
YWCA Lethbridge World YWCA Day Wine & Cheese
