Roses of Hope
The Rose Campaign commemorates Canada’s National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. On December 6, 1989, 14 women, individuals at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal, were gunned down simply because they were women.
The day now represents a time to reflect on the issue of violence against women in our society. It is also a day for communities and individuals to speak out against all forms of violence against women and its impact on victims and their families.
By purchasing a rose, you are helping to support the YWCA Lethbridge & Disitrct to provide urgently needed help and resources to women and their families immediately.
Roses are available for pre-order from November 21-28 and available for pickup at BLOOM Diggity from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6th.
Pre-order yours today and help to spread awareness about violence against women.
