Each year, the YWCA Lethbridge & District hosts our Stockings of Hope campaign.

This Christmas campaign helps women in need (and their families) experience the joy of the Christmas season.

These women and children are either currently using YWCA programs and services or have used them over the past year.

Each stocking includes a wish-list for a particular woman (and her children if she has them). We prioritize all recipients based on individual need.

No matter which stocking you choose to fill, you’ll be providing much needed help to someone in need in our community!

GIVING GUIDELINES

Select a stocking (or two) from the list below.

Add the stocking to your cart, check out, grab your list and start shopping!

Please ensure gifts are non-violent in nature (no toy knives, toy guns, GI Joe’s, boxing gloves, etc). 

Please deliver your gifts UNWRAPPED (wrapping paper is graciously accepted though) to 604, 8 Street South (YWCA Lethbridge & District) during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8AM-4PM) or on Thursday, December 7th or Thursday, December 14th  from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.

Please mark each bag or item with the stocking number so we can ensure the gifts are distributed to the correct family.

Please return your unwrapped gifts by MONDAY, DECEMBER 18TH.

If you’re unable to complete the Stocking of Hope that you checked out, please let us know right away so we can return it for someone else to adopt!

If you want to participate in this year’s program but don’t want to select a stocking, we are looking for the following NEW items to supplement and enhance our current stockings and support those staying with us throughout the season that may not choose to complete a stocking request.

– Arts & Craft Supplies

– Socks (all sizes, shorter/ankle most requested)

– Winter Wear (Toques, Gloves, Scarves, Jackets, Boots)

– Make Up

– General Gift Cards (Groceries, Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart, Park Place Mall, Superstore, No Frills etc.)
