On October 23, 2026, YWCA Lethbridge & District has Take Back the Night, an annual event that brings the community together to stand up for women’s right to walk safely at night.
The evening begins at 6:00 pm on the steps of City Hall, where community members gather before walking together through downtown Lethbridge. The walk concludes at the YWCA building, where participants can warm up with hot drinks and light refreshments while connecting with others in the community.
Take Back the Night is a visible reminder that women should be able to walk through their communities at any time of day or night without fear of harassment, violence, or intimidation.
We invite you to join us, bring your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbours, and walk with us. Together, we can raise our voices, show our support, and take a stand for safer, more inclusive communities where everyone has the right to feel safe, day or night.
