The countdown is on to our 2026 season of the Neighbourhood Play Program, and we are so excited to welcome back some familiar faces, and meet new ones!

Care-free play for your child

Neighbourhood Play is a drop-in program offering supervision so your child can safely develop their social, physical, and cognitive skills through play.

Ages

  • Available to children aged 6 to 12 
  • Younger children are welcome if a parent/guardian is present and supervising them at all times

What to bring

  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Lunch
  • Snacks
  • Hat
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Running shoes

Washrooms and water stations are available.

Daily schedule

Monday – Thursday

  • 8:30 AM – Drop off for all locations
  • 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM – All-day session
  • 3:30 PM – Pick up for all locations

Friday

  • 8:30 AM -Drop off for all locations
  • 12:30 PM – Pick up for all locations

** NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAY PROGRAM DOES NOT RUN ON STATUTORY HOLIDAYS **

  • The Neighbourhood Play Program does provide supervision over the lunch hour, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
  • There is no extended care offered outside of the program hours.
  • Due to the drop-in nature of the program, we recommend that an adult be home during the operation of the program in case your child decides/needs to leave early.

Adverse Weather

  • In the case of excessive heat and/or inclement weather, the program may be required to operate only for the mornings or cancelled for the day.
