Intake Process
Complete the Coordinated Access Round Table (CART) intake form to get a case worker, then ask for a referral from your assigned case worker.
Once your CART referral is in place, your application is brought to the committee for program matching. If the committee feels you’re a good fit, your information will be passed on to Hestia Youth Homes.
Next, Hestia staff will reach out for a suitability interview with you. This is your opportunity to get to know each other, and for you to ask questions about the program.
Following your interview, Hestia will contact your case worker to inform them if you’ve been accepted into the program.
Once accepted, you will be placed on the program waitlist, or, if a spot is open, staff will arrange a convenient move-in date for you.
Note about the waitlist
Wait times can vary from one month to more than a year. In the meantime, CART may recommend other housing options for you. Keep in mind, Hestia Youth Homes does not offer emergency housing.
