2025 was a fantastic season of Neighbourhood Play, and a big shoutout to all of the staff who worked with the hundreds of children who attended this year!
This program will be back next year – look for updates in Spring 2026.

Care-free play for your child
Neighbourhood Play is a drop-in program offering supervision so your child can safely develop their social, physical, and cognitive skills through play.
Ages
- Available to children aged 6 to 12
- Younger children are welcome if a parent/guardian is present and supervising them at all times
What to bring
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Lunch
- Snacks
- Hat
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Running shoes
Washrooms and water stations are available.

Program locations





Daily schedule
Monday – Thursday
- 8:30 AM – Drop off for all locations
- 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM – All-day session
- 3:30 PM – Pick up for all locations
** NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAY PROGRAM DOES NOT RUN ON STATUTORY HOLIDAYS **
- The Neighbourhood Play Program does provide supervision over the lunch hour, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
- There is no extended care offered outside of the program hours.
- Due to the drop-in nature of the program, we recommend that an adult be home during the operation of the program in case your child decides/needs to leave early.
Updates
Adverse Weather
In the case of excessive heat and/or inclement weather, the program may be required to operate only for the mornings or cancelled for the day.
